Amber teething necklaces

Sorry it has been awhile since my last post. I have been taking care of my poor son. He started daycare at the beginning of July and ever since he has been going he has been sick. We are going onto something like week 4 of him being sick.

So since I have heard that amber necklaces can help with teething and other illnesses I thought I would give it a try. I ordered it online so it will be a bit before it gets here, but I'm curious of others out there that have tried it. What are your experiences and what did you use it for? I will keep everyone posted on how my son does once we receive it.

Going back to work!

So I have been back to work now for a month and I am still having a hard time transitioning from being a stay at home mom to my 1 year old to being a working mother. I love all the time I spend with my son so giving that up is hard. Now that I have been back to work the time I spend with him is very minimal because by the time I pick him up from daycare he has dinner, bath you know the usual stuff and then it's off to bed. Then other days I don't get home until hes all ready in bed. I'm missing the days were we would go to the park and play on the swings or even just teaching him about new things. Now with the daycare they do all that so it upsets me when he comes home and does something new, I'm wishing I was the one that had taught him that.

I currently just work in the retail industry and it's not something I want to be doing for the rest of my life. Plus to add to it the place is full of drama which I am not a fan of so that makes it even harder, I'm constantly having to what I call babysit the employees, I'd much rather be taking care of my son instead of teenagers that should know what is required of them at a job. Would the transition be easier if it was a career, a job worth keeping?  Are there any moms out there that have come to this fork in the road? How did you deal with it?

Cloth diapers vs Daddy

When we found out I was pregnant I decided I really wanted to use cloth diapers. My husband was all for it, so when he was born I bought a bunch of diapers. I love cloth diapering way better than disposable. The only issue I'm having is getting my husband to use them. He says its a big inconvience and that he rather use disposable. I explained to him all the benefits of cloth diapering as well as how much money we would be saving. I have tried to even compromise with him and use cloth at home and disposables when we go out, but still it has been an up hill battle. Our son just turned 1 and we are still struggling with this issue!

Has anyone else had this issue? How did you deal with it?

Rockin Green

I am so excited to be able to share one of my favorite laundry detergents with you! I have been cloth diapering for 7 months now and Rockin Green is a must with cloth diapering. You will love the scents so much that you will be excited when it is time to do the laundry. This soap does not leave a residue, but it does leave your diapers smelling great after.

Some of the amazing scents they have are:
Rage Against the Raspberries
Smashing Watermelons
Motley Clean
Lavendar Mint Revival

The soap also comes in three different formulas Soft Rock, Classic Rock and Hard Rock, so no matter what water type you have there is a formula for you.

If you love their soap than you will love their pail freshners, a sprinkle of this in your diaper pail will help with the smell in between wash days.

The real reason why to use this soap besides the amazing smells is that your little one will never get a rash from this stuff. The soap is so safe that I even use it to wash my little guys clothing.

You can purchase Rockin Green producs from Rockin Green directly!

FuzziBunz

Looking at buying cloth diapers? The decision can be overwhelming! If you are looking for a diaper that is an all in one and is adjustable then check out FuzziBunz one size diapers.  These diapers come in a huge range of colour and the colours are not disappointing at all. It makes clothing diapering that much better!

How do they work? At the back of the diaper there is a spot to slip in the insert and adjust it into place before use, when done just pull the insert out and throw both into the wash. For sizing there are three spots that can be adjusted so that it first your little one. Along the back where the back pocket is you have an elastic that you can adjust as well as an elastic on either side of the leg holes where you can adjust the tightness around the legs. Don't tighten too much, just enough that it is snug, but not leaving marks. Also with the many snaps in the front you can adjust tightness around the waist with choosing what snaps to use.

Added absorbency? The diapers all come with two liners so if your little one needs that extra protection during the night you can always tuck in the extra one to stop from having any leaks.

You can purchase these diapers directly from Fuzzibunz or http://www.littlemonkeystore.com/
